The Heart and Soul of Driving Success: A 60-Year Legacy
My family has operated multiple commercial driver education schools for over 60 years. Long before I invented The Controller®, our instructors were already using the calm, physical “shadowing” techniques my father taught me while training me to fly aircraft. We guided the steering wheel silently, letting the student feel the proper lane boundaries through their hands. It worked beautifully.

A Note from the Inventor: From the Cockpit to the Car
When I was 15, my father, a seasoned pilot, sat me down in our airplane to teach me to fly. As we rolled down the runway, he didn’t shout instructions over the roar of the engine. Instead, he told me, “David, place your left hand on the yoke, your right hand on the throttle, and your feet lightly on the rudders. Just shadow my movements. Let your muscle memory send it to your brain for learning.”
